Our Greater Birmingham "Beyond the Middle" Capital Intensive and Richmond's "Beyond the Million" Capital Intensive secure the resources, expertise, and connections to unlock your business’ full potential.

Our inaugural "Beyond The Middle" Capital Intensive launched in Birmingham on September 25, 2024. Applications are currently closed and the inaugural Intensive is currently in progress. 

Richmond's "Beyond the Million" Capital Intensive launched on March 10, 2025. Applications will open on March 30. Sessions will start in early May.

The Greater Birmingham and Richmond area are brimming with small to medium-sized businesses yet both markets are undercapitalized from a financial perspective. The Greater Birmingham area has over 45,000 small to medium-sized businesses and the Richmond area has seen an increase of 24-44% increase in small to medium-sized businesses in recent years. The Capital Collective is focused on equalizing access to capital.
 

What will the program cost?

The Greater Birmingham "Beyond the Middle" Capital Intensive and Richmond's "Beyond the Million" Capital Intensive is funded by leading financial institutions, Fortune 500 corporations, and other philanthropic partners. There is no cost to participants of these programs.
