The Capital Collective

We built the door we wished had been open.

Emily Halpern created The Capital Collective because she had spent decades inside the capital world and kept seeing the same thing: the businesses that needed support were the ones being left out of the room.

The idea was simple. The gap was real.

She had invested, raised funds, built businesses, and exited them. She had also seen profitable, ambitious companies excluded from the capital rooms that could change their trajectory.

Not because those companies weren't ready. Because nobody had built them a way in. In 2024, she decided to build it herself.

The mission

When a business grows, the impact doesn't stop at the company's door. Every business that scales through The Capital Collective creates jobs, drives economic activity, and builds lasting wealth in its community.

We're not just trying to get businesses bigger. We're trying to change the economic landscape of entire communities, starting in the South, and growing nationwide.
